Carcinoma of Right Breast pT1miN0snM0, ER (+) 5%, PR (-), HER2 (3+), KI67 10%. DCIS (2012). In January 2013 recurrence of Right Breast Carcinoma rpT1aNxM0 G2 ER (-), PR (-), HER2(3+), DCIS/DIN3. Disease progression in May 2020: Metastases in Lung, Pleura, Pericardium, Mediastinum l/m. Lung Carcinomatous Lymphangitis, Fluid in Pericardium, Right Lung Carcinomatous Lymphangitis, in the Pleural Cavity.

Previous Treatment

Surgery (Quadrantectomy), Surgery (Mastectomy), Radiation Therapy, Chemotherapy (Docetaxel) + Biological Therapy (Trastuzumab + Pertuzumab).

Prognosis and Survival Expectation

The prognosis remains poor, with a median survival of ~30 months for Advanced Breast Cancer. Stage IV HER2-Positive Breast Cancer patients have a 5-year overall survival (OS) ranging from 30% to 45%.

Treatment Provided

Autologous DCV (16 doses) and CIK (10 doses) over a period of 23 months.

The patient survived for over 10 years since the diagnosis and for 28 months since disease progression. It can be concluded that the addition of Immunotherapy, alongside Surgery, Radiation Therapy, Chemotherapy and Biological Therapy, benefited patient in disease stabilisation. However, the median survival was not reached.
