Prognosis and Survival Expectation

Metastatic Malignant Steroid Cell Tumors are very rare and survival rates vary between cases. Some literature reports of 6-11 months after disease recurrence.

Treatment Provided

Autologous DCV (7 doses) and CIK (4 doses) over a period of 6 months.

The patient has survived for 71 months since the diagnosis. It can be concluded that the addition of Immunotherapy, alongside Surgeries, Chemotherapy and Hormone Therapy, has benefited patient in disease stabilisation and extended survival.
